Panaji, Oct 7: Goa reported 60 new cases of COVID-19 and one death during the past 24 hours, the health department said today.
According to the daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the addition of these new cases, the cumulative number of infections in the state rose to 1,76,924, while the death toll climbed 3,323.

A total of 52 more recoveries were also reported during the past 24 hours, taking the number of those recovered in the state to 1,72,822.

The recovery rate in the state currently stands at 97.68 percent.

Today, 49 patients have advised home isolation, 11 were admitted to hospitals while four were discharged.
As many as 3860 new samples were tested on Thursday, taking the number of tests in the state to 13,82,263.
The number of active cases in the state currently stands at 779. (UNI)
