Panaji, Sep 22 :Goa reported 102 new cases of COVID-19 and zero deaths in the past 24 hours, the health department said today.

According to the daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with these new cases, the cumulative number of infections in the state increased to 1,75,792, while the death toll remained at 3,297.

Thirty eight more recoveries were also reported during the past 24 hours, taking the number of those recovered in the state to 1,71,545.

Recovery rate in the state currently stands at 97.58 per cent.
On Wednesday, 87 patients were advised home isolation, 15 were admitted to hospitals while 13 were discharged.

As many as 5945 new samples were tested on the same day, taking the number of tests in the state to 13,13,965.
The number of active cases in the state currently stands at 950.(UNI)
