Vijayawada, May 24 : Andhra Pradesh reported 12,994 fresh cases while 96 more patients died during a period of 24 hours.
According to a health department bulletin, 58,835 swab samples were diagnosed in a period of 24 hours ending at 9 am today of which 12,994 were tested as positive for Coronavirus. As many as 96 more patients died at the same period taking the total number of deaths to 10,222.
At present there are 2,03,762 active cases while 18,373 have recovered during the period of 24 hours.
The total number of cases has gone up to 15,93,821 while 13,79,837 patients have been recovered and discharged from various hospitals. So far 1,86,76,222 swab samples have been tested in AP.(UNI)
