Mumbai, Jun 14 : Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole Today stated that at present the people are fed up with the BJP-led central government and the Congress is suitable alternative to it.

While addressing a review meeting of Jalgaon District Congress Committee held here under his chairmanship, he said that a large number of people are being attracted to the Congress ideology.

He further said that all should come together and work unitedly to bring a government of like-minded parties similar to the Congress to power.

In order to strengthen the party organization, the idea of ​​Congress should be conveyed to the youth, he noted.

“The Congress is a party that takes every section of the society with it and work to strengthen the party in Jalgaon district and North Maharashtra, and bring glory to the party,” Mr Patole added.

The meeting was attended by Legislative Congress Party leader and Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, former chief minister Prithviraj Chavan, Women and Child Welfare Minister Yashomati Thakur, State Working president Praniti Shinde, working president Kunal Patil, MLA Shirish Chaudhary, State vice-presidents Bhai Nagarale and Dr Ulhas Patil among others.(UNI)
