Congress lost a loyal activist: Patole on the demise of Raosaheb Antapurkar

Mumbai, April 10: Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole Today mourned the demise of Raosaheb Antapurkar, an assembly member representing the Deglur constituency in Nanded district of Marathwada region of the state.

Mr. Patole described Antapurkar, who succumbed to Corona at a Mumbai hospital after being shifted from Nanded, as a dedicated people’s representative who was always worked for the welfare of the farmers and common people.

In his press statement, Mr. Patole said that Antapurkar had twice won from the Deglur Assembly constituency. He had a lot of public relations in the constituency and always rushed to the aid of the workers in response to their demands.

On Friday, we went to the hospital and inquired about his health condition. He was expected to return to public service after overcoming his illness but lost his life at midnight on Friday.

With the demise of Antapurkar, the Congress family has lost a loyal activist.

The MPCC shares the grief of the Antapurkar family by paying a heartfelt tribute to him, added Mr. Patole.(UNI)
