Congress is criticized by KTR for blocking Rythu Bandhu

HYDERABAD, NOV 27  :   Telangana Minister and BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) slammed the Congress party, which approached the Election Commission of India (ECI) and filed a complaint to stop the disbursement of Rythu Bandhu money.

KTR stated that the EC had earlier prmitted disbursement of Rythu Bandhu money but revoked it after the Congress filed a complaint.
He emphasised that even before coming to power, the Congress ensured Rythu Bandhu money did not reach the farmers. KTR warned that if people mistakenly vote for Congress, they would completely scrap the Rythu Bandhu scheme.

“Congress snatched the morsel before it reached the mouth of the farmers,” KTR said. He assured farmers not to worry, stating that the BRS party would come back to power, and the first thing it would do is disburse the Rythu Bandhu money

During road shows in Peddapalli, Dharmapuri, Huzurabad, and Mulugu constituencies on Monday, KTR criticized the Congress party for working against the farmers’ interests to gain votes.
He reminded the people that the KCR Govt provided Rythu Bandhu 11 times, benefiting 70 lakh farmers in Telangana.

Attacking the Congress for its “anti-farmer” policies, KTR mentioned that Revanth Reddy talks of providing a three-hour power supply to farmers, Uttam Kumar Reddy calls Rythu Bandhu a wasteful program, and Batti Vikramarka says Dharani would be replaced with the patwari system. He ridiculed Congress party leaders for their stance towards farmers.
Drawing a comparison between BRS and Congress, KTR asked, “What do you want? Current or Congress, Rythu Bandhu or Rabandu (vultures), schemes or scams?” He added that Karnataka farmers were coming to Telangana and saying that it was a mistake to elect Congress in their state, which only worsened the current problem.
“To suppress the voice of KCR, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Union Ministers, and CMs of different states were coming to Telangana, and Rahul Gandhi from Delhi and DK Shivkumar from Karnataka were also coming here. But a lion-like KCR will fight it alone,” said KTR.
KTR stated that PM Modi, when in opposition, criticised the gas cylinder price hike, but after becoming PM, he increased Rs. 800 on the gas cylinder. He further said that CM KCR would bear Rs. 800 and provide the gas cylinder for Rs. 400 to the people in Telangana. (UNI)
