Cong will win all three Assembly by-elections in K’taka: Shivakumar
Kalaburagi, Mar 30 :Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar here Today exuded confidence that the Congress would win all three Assembly seats in Basavakalyan, Maski and Belagavi, scheduled for April 17.
Addressing to reporters here, Mr Shivakumar said that the Congress would secure all three seats in Assebmly by-polls. He added that the ruling BJP’s ‘lack of interest’ in development works and its ‘failure on all fronts’ would also benefit the State Congress.
On being asked about the alleged CD scandal that led to the resignation of state minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, the Congress State Chief refused to comment on it, saying he was not well-versed with the matter. However, he added that he would give statement during the Assembly Session after getting more information in this regard.
