CM inaugurates PSA plant
Puducherry, May 28 : Chief Minister N Rangaswamy Today inaugurated the Pressurised Swing Adsorption (PSA) plant at the Government Mahatma Gandhi Dental College here.
Six such plants were allocated for the Union Territory by the Centre to produce Oxygen for the Covid-19 patients in the UT and the plant at the Dental college was inaugurated on completion of its construction.
An official release said, this plant has a capacity to generate 100 liters of Oxygen in one minute and this would help to provide 46 Oxygen beds in the Dental College for Covid patients.
Meanwhile, according to a release from the Directorate of Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy, a special Ayush COVID Care Centre was started at the Indira Gandhi Arts and Science College here.
Covid positive patients with moderate and mild symptoms referred by the Government Medical college in Puducherry could avail beds and treatment at the special Covid care center.(UNI)
