Puducherry, Nov 10 :Chief Minister N Rangaswamy Today  donated a “Golden Vel” to Kadirgamam Murugan temple here.
He donated the ‘Golden Vel’ to the temple from his own money.
After a “yagna” in the temple, a special abhishekam was performed to the deity and then the Murugar Idol was decorated with the Golden Vel.
Mr Rangaswamy and legislator K S P Ramesh are among others who worshipped the deity on the occasion.
It is learnt that Mr Rangaswamy had fulfilled a vow taken when he was infected with Covid-19.(UNI)
