CJI inaugurates modernised judicial complex in Telangana district

Hyderabad, Dec 19 : Chief Justice of India N V Ramana inaugurated a modernised Judicial complex at Hanamkonda in Warangal district of Telangana Today.
Speaking on the occasion, Justice Ramana said the modernised judicial complex with ten courts would become a role model in the country.
There was a share from the Central and State governments in the development of courts in the states across the country, but this modernised judicial complex with complete infrastructure was developed with the funds of the state government alone, he added.
Touted to be a first of its kind facility in the country, the modernised court complex was constructed, housing 10 regular courts, a Pocso court and a family court.
Besides, there are more facilities for the family court in the complex to enable the women and children to spend their time better, a crèche was set up to take care of the infants and also breast milk feeding cabins.
It has a special cabin for the accused within the courtroom that has a one-way looking glass preventing child victims from facing the accused and also has a separate entrance for the accused.
The ten court complex was completely revamped with a huge waiting hall that will also allow for dining facilities and separate washrooms.
Earlier, Justice Ramana along with his wife had darshan of Goddess Bhadrakali at the deity’s temple and offered special pooja to the goddess.
On his arrival at the temple, the CJI was given a traditional reception by the priests and officials.
The CJI also visited the 1,000 pillar temple and performed pooja to Rudreshwar Swamy.
Telangana High Court Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, judicial officials, district officials, people’s representatives, staff of the ASI, Tourism department were present during the CJI’s visit.
The CJI will reach Hyderabad and will participate in the graduation ceremony of Nalsar University in Shamirpet, on the outskirts of the city this evening.
Justice Ramana will stay for the night here and leave for Delhi on Monday.(UNI)
