Children vaccination begins in Maharashtra
Mumbai, Jan 03 : Maharashtra Health Department Today started administering COVID vaccine to children aged between 15-18.
The health department sources said that 750 vaccination centres have been set up across the state to administer vaccine to children.
So far, more than seven lakh children have registered themselves on government’s CoWin portal for vaccination.
Similarly, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) also started children vaccination from today.
The corporation has set the target of vaccinating nine lakh children across nine Jumbo vaccination centre in the City.
More than 50 Omicron patients were detected in last 24 hours, maximum patients were detected
in Pune (36) . Corona has also spread to Asia’s largest slum area Dharavi.
Considering crowd at the function of political leaders without following the corona rules and regulation, the state home Minister Dilip Walve-Patil has directed law enforcement department that rules and regulation are equal for all, so take action against people who violated corona norms.
Meanwhile, actor John Abraham and his wife Priya Runchal have tested positive for COVID.(UNI)
