Aurangabad/Mumbai, April 24: Maharashtra Public Works Minister Ashok Chavan has demanded that the Covid vaccine should be made available to the state governments at the same rate as the Center.
In a statement issued last night, Mr. Chavan stated that the central government is getting the Covid vaccine for just Rs 150 and the states will have to buy the same vaccine for Rs 400.
The central government has shifted the responsibility of vaccinating citizens between the ages of 18 and 45 to the states, so the states need to get vaccinated at cheaper or at least central government rates, Chavan demanded. (UNI)
