New Delhi, May 16 :Bollywood superstar Emraan Hashmi is a true trailblazer and has given the audiences one of the best films in the past decade.
Of his classic performances, ‘Jannat’ is a step apart as it gave a boring mundane romance a beautiful upgrade.
On Tuesday, the film has completed 15 years and Emraan said in a statement, “Where did 15 years pass by? It still feels nostalgic and surreal. Jannat is also one of my favorite projects to have worked on. Fans also showered so much love on the film and I still remember how the songs were a rage. Even today, sometimes I come across someone who is singing or humming the songs the way we do when a fresh song is released.”
The Emraan Hashmi starrer received critical acclaim and was a huge hit at the box office. The demand and craze was so high that makers released a sequel – ‘Jannat 2’ in 2012.
Emraan was last seen in ‘Selfiee’ with Akshay Kumar. The actor also has multiple projects lined up and more updates are awaited eagerly.(UNI)
