Cauvery river water dispute and Mekedatu project: Arun Singh bats on Karnataka
Mysuru, Sep 1: Karnataka State BJP in-charge Arun Singh said that the party is committed to safeguarding the Cauvery river water dispute issue in the state.
Speaking to media persons before leaving for Hassan, he said he would bow to the orders of the Cauvery River Water Tribunal’s order of releasing 30 TMC Water to Tamil Nadu.
However, he said the orders would be verified.
In his response to the Tamil Nadu BJP unit’s opposition to the Karnataka government’s Mekedatu project proposal, Singh batted for the state. He assured that the party is committed to safeguarding the interest of the state and the farmers. (UNI)
