Mumbai, Jul 16 :A case of rape was registered against Bollywood producer and music baron Bhushan Kumar for allegedly raping an aspiring model-cum-actor here Today.

A complaint was filed by the victim on Thursday against Kumar, who is Managing Director of T-Series, at D N Nagar police station.

The victim has claimed that she was sexually exploited and repeatedly raped by Kumar between 2017 and 2020 under the false pretext of giving work in films.

An offence was registered under Indian Penal Code Sec. 376, 420 and 506 pertaining to rape, cheating, threatening, etc, and further investigations are on.
However, no arrest has been made so far.

Kumar (43), is the son of the late Gulshan Kumar Dua, who was killed near a temple at Juhu in Mumbai, 24 years ago.(UNI)
