Candidates receive B Forms from Naidu.

VIJAYAWADA, APR 21   :   Telugu Desam party chief N Chandrababu Naidu here on Sunday handed over B Forms to the candidates contesting the Assembly and Lok Sabha in the coming elections.

Naidu handed over the B Forms after garlanding the statue of TDP founder and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao in the state party office located at Mangalagiri near here.

Naidu administered oath with the candidates to follow the principals and ideals of the TDP. Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh, who is contesting from Mangalagiri Assembly constituency, N Balakrishna, the brother-in-law of Naidu and K Acchannaidu, who is the state president of TDP, were among those who received B Forms today from Naidu. Later speaking on the occasion, Naidu exhorted all the candidates to work hard to win the election and intensify the election campaign.

Meanwhile, the TDP made last minute changes in allocating tickets. The TDP has given ticket to K Raghurama Krishna Raju to contest to the Assembly from Undi constituency in WG district. Raghurama Krishna Raju is a rebellion MP of YSRCP and he has been maintaining close relations with the TDP for the last three years.

Giddi Eeshwari was given ticket to contest from Paderu Assembly constituency, Bandaru Styanarayna Murthy from Madugula, MS Raju Madakashira, and Kugondla Ramakrishna from Venkatagiri Assembly constituency. It may be mentioned that the TDP joined the NDA. The TDP, Jana Sena and the BJP forged an alliance in AP to face the ruling YSRCP.(UNI)
