BSF seizes 1.902 kg of heroin from Punjab border
Jalandhar, April 25: Border security Force seized two packets of contraband suspected to be heroin wrapped in two white sacks from the area of responsibility of 136 Bn in Ferozepur sector.
A spokesperson of Punjab Frontier Headquarter of the BSF here said on Sunday that the contraband wrapped in two sacks weighing 1.902kg contraband suspected to be heroin was found hidden in the wheat fields ahead of border security fencing.
Value of the heroin seized is said to be nearly Rs 9.50 crore in the international market.
The BSF had seized 202.097 kg heroin during the current calendar year so far having a value of more than Rs 1010 crore in the international market.(UNI)
