BRASCSC appeals PM to consider Urdu Journo Syed Viqaruddin name for Bharat Ratna Award

Hyderabad, May 4 :  Mr Taher Kamal Khundmiri, Convenor Bharat Ratna Award Senior Citizens Suggestion Committee (BRASCSC) today appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consider the name of Syed Viqaruddin, who is the non-controversial Journalist, for Bharat Ratna Award.
In the past, no any such award was given to any Urdu Journalist in India.
In a media statement here, Mr Taher said it is the fact that Bharat Ratna is the highest Civilian Award in our country and it is given to a person whose services to the Nation in arena of Politics, Economics, Social Sports, Science or Literature Arts, Technology and Journalism are of highest order in the democracy.
People have every right to give their opinion on this Award. Our organization BRASCSC in the preliminary stage felt the pulse of the people through out the state before launching the movement.
It is fact there were many National Parties which supported the cause of Palestine State. The veteran Journalist Syed Viqaruddin formed Indo-Arab league and is the Architect of Indo-Arab Friendship and paved way the relationship of India very close with Arab world, he said.

The BRASCSC Convenor said Syed Viqaruddin have good relations not only with former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, but have relations with the Kings, President and Prime Minister of Arab worlds and they respect Syed Viqaruddin with honour.(UNI)
