Baramulla, Feb 20:  Body of a man was recovered under mysterious circumstances in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir on Saturday, official sources said.
They said panic gripped in Handwara in Kupwara this morning when a body was spotted by some local residents this morning.
Later, police was informed , they said adding the body was taken away by police for identification.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Amin Tantary , a resident of Khunbal, source said adding the cause of his death was being ascertained.
Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings, they added. (UNI)
