Srinagar, Mar 6 :Body of an unidentified person was recovered under mysterious circumstances in north Kashmir district of Bandipora on Saturday.

Official sources said that panic gripped village Pannar in Bandipora this morning, when some locals saw a body lying on the roadside.

The locals immediately informed the police and a team was rushed to the area and the body was taken away. “The deceased was reportedly mentally unsound and was roaming in the area since late last night,” the sources said.

They said police has registered a case and initiated investigation to ascertain the cause of the death and identity of the deceased. (UNI)
