Hyderabad, Jul 31: Bharatiya Janata Party’s Telangana unit President Bandi Sanjay Today called on former Minister and BJP leader Etela Rajender at a city hospital where the latter is undergoing treatment.

Mr. Sanjay who was accompanied by party leader Vivek Venkataswamy inquired Mr. Rajender about his health.

Mr. Rajender who was on “Praja Deevena” (People’s Blessing ) padayatra in the poll-bound Huzurabad Assembly constituency suspended the yatra after he fell ill at Kondapaka village on Friday.

He was shifted to Hyderabad after the advice of the local doctors who examined him.

The former Minister had already covered over 200 km since he had started the padayatra two weeks ago.

According to BJP sources, Mr. Rajender will resume his padayatra after he gets well. (UNI)
