BJP state VP alleges MVA of not using PM CARES fund adequately

Aurangabad, April 25 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state vice-president MLA Prasad Lad on Sunday alleged that the MVA state government has provided fund from the PM Care Fund to set up an oxygen generation project in Maharashtra. However, the alliance government did not use the funds.
According to BJP official statement on their official Twitter account stated that many people in the state would not have died due to lack of oxygen if the oxygen generation project had been set up with the funds provided by the Centre, said Lad.

The central government had sent letters to the state governments in January 2021 to ensure that no state was deprived of essential oxygen during the Corona epidemic and that each state be self-sufficient in this regard.

Accordingly, the PM Care fund was given to Maharashtra to set up 10 oxygen generation projects.

However, the state government has not started any project using these funds in the last 4-5 months.
As a result, many people have lost their lives due to lack of oxygen in the last few days, he said.

The government, which recovered the money from a police officer, squandered funds for oxygen generation projects.
The ‘sitting at home’ government did nothing to create the much-needed facilities during this period, despite the idea that the second wave of the corona would be frightening.
Mr Lad also said that the general public in the state is falling victim to this nefarious government, he said.

The central government has decided to supply 4,35,000 Remedesivir injections in 10 days as per the demand of the state government.

The fire at the hospital in Vasai-Virar killed 13 patients, which is very sad news.
The responsibility of the state government in providing financial assistance to the families of the deceased does not end when such incidents occur, Lad added.
Meanwhile, MPCC Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) General Secretary and Spokesperson Sachin Sawant in his tweet refuted all the charges levelled by Mr Lad in his statement and said BJP is the largest lying party in the world.
The central government has not provided any funds to the state government for 10 oxygen projects.
The agency for the implementation of the project was decided by the Modi government.
The machines are being supplied after April 5, 2021. Not yet given to Sindhudurg, Mr Sawant added.(UNI)
