New Delhi, Feb 7 : The Constitution (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Orders (Amendment) Bill, 2022 has Today  been introduced in Rajya Sabha. The amendment Bill seeks to remove Bhogta caste from the category of Scheduled Caste and also includes certain other communities in the list of Scheduled Tribes category in Jharkhand. The Bill was moved for introduction in the Rajya Sabha by Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda and adopted with a voice vote. (UNI)
