Patna, Jun 06 : A total of 920 corona positive cases were recorded while 21 people lost their lives during the last 24 hours to COVID in Bihar, it was reported on Sunday.
According to a release of state health department, 1,08,933 people were tested in the last 24 hours and 920 of them were found positive. A total of 1,799 corona patients also recovered from their illness in the same period.
Maximum number of 87 cases were reported from Patna while figure remained below 10 in fifteen districts. Positivity rate was reduced to 0.84 percent while recovery rate increased to 98.0 2 percent. Before the lockdown was imposed on May 5, positivity rate was 15. 57 percent while recovery rate was 78.38 percent. Total number of active cases was more than 1.13 lakh then while at present the figure is 8,707. A total number of 5,381 people have lost their lives so far in the state.(UNI)
