Aurangabad, May 21 : Collector Sunil Chavan and Commissioner of Police Dr Nikhil Gupta Today visited many places in the city like Shahganj, Kiradpura, Jalna Road and took action against shops and establishments which did not comply with the rules of’ Break the Chain’ and sealed 24 establishment in a action.
It was observed that shops and establishments in many places in the district were not following the rules. Hence, Mr Chavan and Dr Gupta called a meeting of Deputy Commissioner of Labor, Municipal Corporation and Revenue Officer today.
During the meeting, special flying squads were formed and instructions were given to take action to ensure that shops and establishments (excluding establishments in essential services) would not continue.

The teams patrolled their assigned areas from 9.30 am to 1.00 am and sealed the total 24 establishments in different parts in city which were find opening during the restrictions timing.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has banned the sale of food items to the establishments of Sanskriti Fast Food Center, Connaught Place, CIDCO, Aurangabad and Harsh Medical MGM Gate, CIDCO, Aurangabad till the outbreak of Corona virus and collected fine of Rs 1,25,000, they added.(UNI)
