At the Rozgar Mela in Hyderabad, Bhagwanth Khuba emphasizes how low unemployment is in India.
Hyderabad, July 22 : Union Minister of State for Chemicals & Fertilizers, Bhagwanth Khuba asserted that India’s unemployment rate is the lowest among developing countries.He addressed the gathering at RTC Kala Bhavan here on Saturday during the Rozgar Mela, where he handed over appointment letters to approximately 135 youths.Speaking about the success of PM Mudra Yojana in promoting self-sustaining employment, Khuba praised the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi and emphasized that the Rozgar Melas are instrumental in reducing unemployment and driving the economy through the aspirations of the youth.These Rozgar Melas align with the Prime Minister’s vision of ensuring corruption-free recruitment processes and promoting transparency.Under PM Modi’s direction, this unique recruitment drive, the Rozgar Mela, was initiated in India to reform the traditional recruitment practices plagued by corruption and biases.Khuba highlighted India’s remarkable economic growth post-pandemic, achieving a GDP growth rate of 7.2 per cent, the highest in the world. He credited this achievement to the visionary direction of PM Modi.Furthermore, the Union Minister pointed out the significant improvement in the lives of the poor in India, with over 15 crore people lifted out of poverty in the last nine years. He also mentioned the remarkable increase in startups, from 100 before 2014 to more than 1 lakh now, a testament to PM Modi’s able leadership.Regarding the agricultural sector, Khuba mentioned the innovative system called e-NaM, which allows farmers to sell their crops all over India, resulting in increased profits. He also highlighted the benefits provided to 11.5 crore farmers through the PMKisan scheme, where they receive Rs 6000 per year via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).The Union Minister emphasized that India’s transformation was not merely rhetoric but a result of PM Modi’s strong commitment to the vision of ‘sabka saath sabka vikas’ (inclusive growth for all).The Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat initiative brought unity among all Indians and propelled India towards progress and prosperity.As a testament to India’s growth, it has now become a 3.3 Trillion economy and the fifth-largest economy in the world within the last nine years.Khuba praised India’s greatest strength—its population, comprising hardworking and intelligent individuals. He expressed confidence that with the youth-powered ecosystem, India would lead the world by 2047.Highlighting infrastructure improvements, the minister mentioned world-class national highways and the transformation of railways, with the introduction of hygienic Vande Bharat trains and upgraded stations.The Rozgar Mela saw youth from the Telugu states receiving appointment letters for various government departments, including AIIMS, Power Grid, LIC, Central Board of Indirect Taxes, and Bank of Baroda.Chief Commissioner of the Customs Department, Sandeep Prakash, Commissioner Sangeetha, and other officials were also present at the event.(UNI)
