Chittoor, Oct 6 :On the occasion of Dussehra holidays, APSRTC Chittoor region decided to operate as many as 307special busses to various places from the district from October 8 to 18.

Regional Manager (RM) Chengal Reddy on Wednesday informed that the busses will be operated from different places in the district to various places including neighbouring states Karanataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana.

In connection with this, RM conducted a review meeting with other officials and directed them to take

required measures to operate special services along with regular services to above said routes.

It is needless to say that the special festival occasion comes as a boon to the cash – strapped RTC which is crippling with heavy losses due to non-operation of bus services because of pandemic which is gripping the country for almost two years hitting hard the start transport.(UNI)
