Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Aug 1 : Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a bulletin here, it said that heavy rain is likely to occur in Rayalaseema on Tuesday and Wednesday, and in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on August 5.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places or at one or two places in Rayalaseema, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period.
Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in Anantapur district and heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in YSR district during the same period.
Rain occurred at many places in Rayalaseema and at few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam of Puducherry during the last 24 hours, the bulletin added.(UNI)
