Kakinada, Nov 22:The Yelesweram police Today intercepted an auto near Yerravaram in the early hours and arrested four persons who are clandestinely transportin g30 kgs of ganja packed in travel luggage bags, police said.

Besides the ganja, the police recovered four cell phones which were seized from them.

The accused have confessed that they were smuggling ganja from Visakhapatnam agency to a destination in Tamil Nadu and to escape the police dragnet they choose to travel in a passenger auto. The accused were remanded to judicial custody, police added.(UNI)
