Vizianagaram (Andhra Pradesh), Mar 29: Three persons were killed and five passengers injured after two Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) buses collide on the Vizanagaram-Visakhapatnam highway road in the district Today morning

The incident occurred near Sunkaripet village when the state-owned buses travelling in opposite directions collided with each other, police said here.

Nearly 50 passengers were travelling in the both buses when the mishap occurred.

Two drivers of both the buses and one passenger died in the accident.

The five injured passengers were shifted to Vizianagaram government hospital.

A lorry carrying empty gas cylinders also hit one of the buses in the mishap.(UNI)
