JAMMU, JULY 5 :  A batch of 6919 Amarnath cave shrine-bound pilgrims started from the Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp here on Friday, to take the twin Pahalgam and Baltal routes in Kashmir.This is the eighth batch of pilgrims to leave the base camp for the pilgrimage this year..

Last year, over 4.5 lakh pilgrims paid obeisance at the cave shrine.
The 52-day-long Amarnath Yatra will conclude on August 19. (UNI)
