Akbaruddin Owaisi, leader of AIMIM floods, expresses worry about food adulteration
HYDERABAD FEB 9 : AIMIM flood leader Akbaruddin Owaisi expressed worry on Friday about the horrible practices of food adulteration, which had become an increasingly dangerous threat in the city, and asked the government to concentrate on the harmful impact the disease has on human health.
Speaking during the Assembly’s motion of appreciation for the governor’s speech, he said that food adulteration was to blame for the high rate of cancer and other major health problems among the city’s citizens.
He claimed that the issue of adulteration has made items like rice, toothpaste, and even medications hazardous for consumers to use. Chocolates made with ganja were also arriving in the city from nearby States.
He wanted wine shops and pan shops removed from the area around schools and other places of worship. Such facilities must to be prohibited from ever again being built next to churches, mosques, and temples.
He also urged the authorities to pay more attention to the city’s growing environmental problem. The leader of AIMIM pleaded with the administration to permit the temporary establishment of the fruit market in the city’s Wakf grounds next to Pahadishareef.
After all the facilities were built, it might be moved to the new fruit market that was suggested. Along with thanking the government for its updated plans to bring the Metro Rail to the Old City, Owaisi requested that the project’s extension give up additional space in the Old City.
