Mumbai, Jul 1 : Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar Today expressed his gratitude to the medical fraternity on the occasion of the National Doctor’s day.

In his statement, Mr Pawar said: “I would like to express my gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and support staff who have served humanity through patient care.

Salute to the service and sacrifice of all the doctors who have been serving the patients for the last one and a half years at the risk of their lives during the corona pandemic.”

It may noted that National Doctor’s day is observed to commemorate the birth and death anniversary of Dr B. C Roy, former state chief minister of West Bengal. Dr Roy had also been the chief minister of West Bengal.(UNI)
