After son-in-law’s arrest, Eknath Khadse quizzed by ED

Mumbai, Jul 8: The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday questioned Eknath Khadse, former Maharashtra revenue minister, in a money laundering case, and later his statement was also recorded.

The agency had issued summons to Khadse on Wednesday, asking him to appear before the ED today. The ED officials had arrested Khadse’s son-in-law Girish Chaudhari in the case.

“I’ll cooperate. Entire Maharashtra can see what is happening. Everyone knows this is politically motivated. The inquiry has already been done 5 times. It is being done again now. ACB has given a report that there is no evidence,” Khadse said while talking to media persons on his arrival at the ED office. (UNI)
