KADAPA, AP, OCT 24 :Three persons of a family were killed and two critically injured when an APSRTC bus collided with a car at Raj Nagar village in Railway Kodur mandal in Annamayya district on Thursday.

Police said that a speeding electric bus of APSRTC hit a car killing Ravuri Prem Kumar (51), Ravuri Vasavi (47), and Kamishetti Sujata (40). The accident took place when the victims were going to Tirupati to attend a family function.

The Injured were admitted to GGH in Railway Kodur Hospital and later shifted to Ruia Hospital in Tirupati where their condition is said to be critical.

The deceased and the injured belonged to the Kurnool district. The police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the GGH for postmortem.
