Anantnag, April 7: Jammu and Kashmir police recovered a huge consignment of drugs and arrested two persons in this south Kashmir district, a police spokesman said on Wednesday afternoon.

He said on a tip-off police raided a place in Bijbehara in Anantnag. However, after long search police finally unearthed an underground hideout where drugs in more than 20 bags were recovered.

Two persons were arrested in this connection.

Case FIR has been registered and further investigation is underway, he said. (UNI)
