UP: SP MLC and fmr BSP MLA among 101 identified as land mafias in Auraiyya
Auraiyya, April 6: The Anti Land-Mafia Task Force constituted to identify the land-mafias by District magistrate Sunil Kumar Verma in the Auraiyya district of Uttar Pradesh has announced 101 people as land mafias which also includes Samajwadi Party’s Vidhan Parishad member Kamlesh Pathak and BSP’s former MLA Santosh Kumar.
Official sources on Tuesday here said that the people announced as land mafias by DM Sunil Kumar Verma include Makarand and Ram Ratan, Ramu Yadav, Anuruddh Kumar, and Umesh Kumar, Ms. Rama Tripathi, Ms. Sunita, Chote Lal, and Rajveer, Brijesh Kumar, Udal, and Sonveer, Jwalaprasad, former BSP MLA Santosh Kumar aka Madan Gautam, Suresh Singh, Ram Chandra, Ram Pal and 20 others who are residents of Jagatpur, Bidhuna, Ram Naresh Yadav, Dhyan Pal Singh and 10 others residing in Dadusarai, Bidhuna, Vijay Bahadur and 18 others residing in Vichauliya Bidhuna, Lajjaram and 16 others from Dodapur Bidhuna, Mahadev and 13 others who reside in Bhatauli Bidhuna, Arvind Pal Yadav, Rakesh Yadav, and SP MLC Kamlesh Pathak.
The aforementioned people have been accused of illegally occupying government land worth crores of rupees. Most of the land has been freed from illegal occupation. Action is being taken to free government land from the remaining people. (UNI)
