Hyderabad, April 3: National Legal Services Authority (NLSA) has proposed to hold the National Lok Adalat on April 10 at all levels from Supreme Court to Taluq Court across the country for settlement of all kinds of Civil cases and Compoundable Criminal cases (both pre-litigation and pending litigation cases).
As part of it, under the able guidance of Chief Justice, Patron-in-Chief, and the Executive Chairman, Telangana State Legal Services Authority, the National Lok Adalat is scheduled to be organized across the state in all the Courts on that day for settlement of all Civil and Compoundable Criminal cases, G Anupama Chakravarthy, Member Secretary (District & Sessions Judge) said in a release here on Saturday.
He said the Lok Adalat is rendering services without any expenditure (or) fees. The court fee if any paid in pending cases will be refunded if the matter is settled through Lok Adalat and no appeal lies against the award passed in Lok Adalat,
The general public is requested to avail the benefit of Lok Adalat Mechanism for settlement of their cases in the National Lok Adalat next Saturday in physical and virtual mode, the release added. (UNI)
