Aurangabad, Mar 30:  A coronavirus patient succumbed to his life after suffocating for hours without oxygen in the washroom of a government hospital toilet.
The incident came to light on Monday evening when the other patients notified the staff about the patient.
The patient, identified as Gulabrao Dhawale who was gone to the washroom but did not return for about four and half hours .
The nearby patients notified the staff that the deceased had been lying in the toilet without oxygen for over four and a half hours.

After breaking the door of the toilet, his body was removed and was examined by doctors but he was already dead.

However, the relatives of the patient accused the hospital administration for not paying attention to the patient for four and half hours

It may be noted, Aurangabad district is one of worst affected across the state where daily over 1500 patients were spotted as well as over 20 fatalities are being reported per day since the last two weeks.(UNI)
