Washington, Mar 29 :  The global death toll from COVID-19 has gone past 2.787 million, while more than 127.4 million cases of the infection have been detected till now.
This data was released by the US-based Johns Hopkins University, which is the most credible source for tracking statistics on the Corona virus pandemic.
COVID-19 cases in the world as of 20:40 GMT(0210 hrs IST) Monday: the number of cases in the world stood at 127,442,926, while fatalities stood at 2,787,915.
The United States still has the highest number of cases in the world, having 30,291,863 cases, while 549,664 people have lost their lives due to the virus.(UNI)
