Mysuru, Mar 29 :Two women killed and about 20 others injured when a van in which they were travalling fell to a canal at chunchanakate , in K.R nagara taluk in the district Sunday late night.

Police said on Monday that the incident occurred the marriage party left k r nagara and driver lost the control and fell to a canal.

Driver the van escaped from the spot.

Deceased have been identified as Pushapalatha (10) and pallavai(9). Injured have been admitted to k r nagara hospital

The major mishap was avoided since there was no water in the canal.

K r nagara and chunchakatte police were visited the spot. Shifted the injured to the hospital. K r nagara police have registered a case in this connection(UNI)
