Siliguri, Mar 19 : At least three people were killed and manysustained wounds, some of them seriously,

when a chartered bus, in which a marriage party was returning home From a wedding reception, fell into a roadside

muddy canal after being hit by a potato laden tractor at Mainaguri in North Bengal’s Jalpaiguri district, official sources

said on Friday.

The accident happened at Singimari at around 2200 hours on Thursday in which three died and some 21 people were admitted to Mainaguri and Jalpaiguri hospitals.

The victims were returning home at North Mouyamari Kathalbari after attending a marriage reception at Kranti.(UNI)
