Hamirpur(HP), Mar 16 : Normal banking operations remained crippled in all parts of the district on the second day of the nationwide strike by the employees and officers of the bank who were protesting against the privatization of the public undertaking banks.
People were seen rushing from one place to another to get their works done but failed as no bank was open.
At many places the people also struggled to withdraw the money as the ATMs also failed to work for want of currency in them.
The strikers raised slogans in support of their demands and against the central government alleging that the attitude of the central government was anti people.
They warned the central government of a nationwide indefinite agitation if their demands were not met shortly and anti labour laws were not withdrawn.(UNI)
