CHANDIGARH AUG 14 : On the occasion of Independence Day, 13 officers and personnel of the Haryana Police have been selected for the President’s Police Medal (PPMDS) and the Police Medal (PMMS) for their outstanding and meritorious services.

A spokesperson from the Haryana Police shared that one officer from the Haryana Police has been awarded the PPMDS, while 12 other officers and personnel have been honored with PMMS by the Union Home Ministry.

Vikas Kumar Arora, Police Commissioner of Gurugram, Haryana, has been awarded the PPMDS in recognition of his exemplary contributions to law enforcement. Twelve other officers and personnel have been awarded the PMMS.

Haryana DGP, Shatrujeet Kapur, congratulated all the awardees, calling it a moment of great pride and honor for the entire police force. (UNI)
