Chennai, Mar 13:The DMK today announced its list

of candidates for the April six Assembly elections to the

Union Territory of Puducherry.

DMK President M K Stalin announced the candidates for

12 of the 13 seats, the party will contest in the Union

Territory.

While sitting legislator R Siva has shifted his seat

to Villianur after leaving his traditional Orleanpet

constituency to recently-inducted businessman S.Gopal,

former Ministers S P Sivakumar and A.M.H Nazeem will

contest from their respective seats, Raj Bhavan and

Karaikal South.

Other candidates are V Anibal Kennedy (Uppalam),

L Sampath (Mudaliarpet), Sun Kumaravel (Mangalam),

V. Karthikeyan (Nellithope), A. Krishnan alias

A K Kumar (Mannadipet), S Muthuvel (Kalapet),

A Mugilan (Thirubuvanai-R) and M.Nahathyagarajan

(Neravy TR Pattinam).

The party is yet to announced its candidate for the

Bahour constituency.(UNI)
