Gangtok, Mar 12: Chief Minister PS Tamang, has announced considering a gazetted holiday on Shivratri from 2022.

Consequent upon demand presented by Didi Sonam, leading the Brahamkumaris, here, Chief Minister said holiday could be considered after Municipal elections.

He attended the Brahmkumari Shivratri puja, here on Thursday late evening, preceded by puja at Yangang South Sikkim during the morning.

He was accompanied by Minister for Urban Development, Arun Upreti.

Earlier CM Tamang travelled to Yangang South Sikkim, to attend another puja at a temple, Shiva Mahapuran organised by Sapta Kanya Kalika Devi Mandir. He was accompanied by Minister for Commerce & Industries BS Panth.(UNI)
