Aurangabad, Mar 11 : AIMIM activists, led by district president Sameer Sajid, city president Sharek Nakshabandi and Nasser Siddiqui on Wednesday, stormed the Maharashtra Waqf Board headquarters at Panchakki area here and staged agitation .
The demanded that ,action should be taken against those who are guilty and those who supported them in the case where the land mafia earned crores of rupees by grabbing land and the Waqf Board got only Rs 1.5 lakh.
MP Imtiaz Jaleel has staged an agitation against a Waqf Board building on Jalna Road alleging that a luxurious complex worth Rs 100 crore is being set up illegally on Waqf land on March 8, MPs staged an agitation in front of the building at Jalna Road.
The Waqf Board should work to ensure that the Waqf property is safe in the future. The property that was illegally seized should be removed and taken into your possession.
This battle is being fought under the leadership of Mr Jaleel for those who have the right to this property. All political and social organizations should take the initiative and join hands to intensify the agitation.AIMIM is not doing politics but agitating for justicw,they said.
During their protest they Carried out posters, all the activists walked around the Waqf Board and warned the authorities that the agitation would intensify.
The activists also shouted that the officers of the Waqf Board were thieves and Dhannaseth Murdabad, the culprits must be charged, activists chanted slogans against the Waqf Board.(UNI)
