China imposes sanctions on a number of US military firms for selling weapons to Taiwan.
BEIJING, JULY 12 : China imposed sanctions against six US military-industrial companies over the sale of weapons to Taiwan, the state-run China Central Television (CCTV) reported on Friday.
China has decided to take countermeasures against a number of relevant companies and top management after the United States recently “again announced the sale of weapons to the Taiwan region of China,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said, as quoted by the CCTV.
The companies include, Anduril Industries, Maritime Tactical Systems, Pacific Rim Defense, AEVEX Aerospace, LKD Aerospace, Summit Technologies Inc., the statement read.(UNI)
