PATNA, JULY 10 :  Expressing deep sorrow over the accident on Lucknow Agra Expressway in Bangarmau area of Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced an exgratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of persons from the state who were killed in the mishap.

Kumar directed the authorities to pay the exgratia amount from the Chief Minister’s relief fund.
He also instructed the Resident Commissioner, New Delhi to coordinate with the UP government and arrange treatment facilities for the injured.
At least 18 people, including 11 persons from Bihar were killed in the road accident.(UNI)
