KLIP projects to be finished by December 2025: CM Reddy

MAHABUBNAGAR (TELANGANA), JULY 9 :  Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced that the Kalwakurthy Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP) works should be completed by December 2025.

On Tuesday, the Chief Minister launched developmental works worth Rs 396.09 crore and laid foundation stones for numerous development projects worth Rs 353.66 crore in Mahabubnagar district.

Later, Reddy held a review meeting at the Mahabubnagar Collectorate, discussing the district’s development with officials. Topics covered included irrigation, education, and healthcare.
During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of timely completion of the KLIP and stated that he would review the project’s progress monthly.

He issued crucial instructions to the officials, clarifying that the project must be completed by December 2025. He ordered field visits and the creation of an action plan, announcing that the government is ready to release funds through the green channel.
Officials were directed to review the progress of the project every month, with the Chief Minister stressing that the works should be completed on a war footing.(UNI)
